Around here the saying is "Don't plant anything before Mother's Day!" Well, tomorrow is Mother's Day, so we jumped the gun by about 8 hours and planted our deck flower garden this afternoon. We planted several pots of flowers, as well as our traditional cherry and grape tomatoes. We also are trying the newest craze--hanging upside-down tomatoes. We hope these work, and so far, the plant has lots of blooms and seems to be really healthy. We still have several more plants to plant and need to get a few more things to go in the hanging copper pots for the outdoor kitchen wall.

Our deck bear seems to be in on the action as well, but gloves on the head just won't work!
We also bought some new flowers for our indoor planter, just to add a little color.
